The moment of truth arrives as Matt Reeves gives us our first taste of Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight himself for the upcoming DC movie The Batman. And though things are enshrouded in darkness and red, the greatest detective looks very much up to par with his predecessors in the grim/grisaille department.
The suit itself looks modern and functional; the bat symbol on the chest looks mechanical, almost detachable, as if some sort of device or weapon (batarangs?)
Check out the video test, which we must say looks on par with the video test treatment the Joker got, so we arguably are in for a favourable ride to say the least:
Hate the backing track, nevertheless, things are cooking. It also may be my bias seeing I saw The Lighthouse today as well. I propose the name PatBat for our new Dark Knight.
