While Sonic loves the lulls between filmic outings taking out Robotnik, it would seem Knuckles has other plans to occupy his time during those down periods. Revenge. And he takes the fight out on the road in the limited Paramount+ destined series Knuckles.
A continuation from Sonic The Hedgehog 2and a precursor to the coming Sonic The Hedgehog 3, the series puts Knuckles on a rampage path against a protege of mad-scientist Robotnik.
Description reads:
The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3. Stream Knuckles April 26, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada. The series will stream on April 27 in all additional Paramount+ territories, and in Japan later in the year.
