“The Batman” in talks with Colin Farrell to play The Penguin

After negotiation for Jonah Hill to potentially play the Penguin reached a dead end, many contemplated as to who would fill the icon villain’s icy-tipped shoes. Now director Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman movie has their sights on another actor – Colin Farrell.

It is reported that WB and the team behind the feature are in talks with the actor to play Oswald Cobblepot aka Penguin. If Farrell does land the role, he would star opposite Robert Pattinson as the titular Dark Knight, and alongside Paul Dano as the Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
