*UPDATE: Black Widow will be premiering on Disney Plus in tandem with its Cinema release date
It may have seemed like Marvel was happy with the status quo funneling its attention and energy into the serial television side of things with the recent release of Wandavision and The Falcon And The Winter Soldier (with Loki and Hawkeye soon to follow).
However, the latest rejigging of the Marvel timeline is optimistically looking for the return to cinema and feature-length superhero movies.
It has been announced that the next slated films coming out of Marvel Studios in Phase 4 have new release dates.
Black Widow, that has been staved off by the pandemic (for the most part) now has a release date slated for July 9, 2021.
The Eternals will be premiering in cinemas in November 5, 2021
NowSpider-Man: No Way Home– the third installment in Marvel and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man film franchise – will still be in time for the festive season, but you can get to see it from December 17, 2021.
A very optimistic approach from Disney. Whether Marvel’s premiere movies will go the way of the simultaneous streaming and cinema debuts is yet to be known.
