News of the Disney+ Star War series Obi-Wan being momentarily halted with a massive overhaul of script and crew being released from production could understandably be interpreted in a negative light. However, Ewan McGregor took to the public to unveil that hope is far from lost, despite the show being pushed to next year following the news that the show’s writer is being replaced.
McGregor claims the news is not as “dramatic” as it has been made out to be, and that the planned release date for the Disney+ series will be adhered to:
I think the scripts are great. They’re in really good shape. They want them to be better. I think we keep our same airdate. All good.

So everything seems to be on track. Until it isn’t. Who knows with these things. It is not the first time we have gotten slightly conflicting and worrying reports from the Lucasfilm camp. And, almost assuredly, it will not be the last.
