The Flash movie has been revving up to make a temporal impact on the DCEU as teaser images from the team behind the production make reference to all sorts of DC characters… minus and outside the titular Flash.

The first image released shows us the classic Batman symbol, sporting the ‘warning’ colour-combo of black and yellow from the classic Keaton’s Batman in Tim Burton-led movie run. With an added touch of something red and bloody.

Looks familiar? The yellow and red colour composition and placement gives vibes very reminiscent of the classic Comedian badge from Watchmen.

And given the short Watchmen/Batman crossover event that saw the two DC world’s converge, and the larger-than-life-beyond-space-and-time Dr. Manhattan being the type of character you could see existing in parallel universes, we may be bringing the wider DC universe of characters into the current DCEU. Implosive.
