“Captain America 4” is in the works

Since Captain America: Civil War, we thought it the last of a Captain America-led solo film, and ultimately with Avengers: Endgame, we thought it would be the last of Captain America in the MCU for a while.

But if you’ve been keeping up with the razzle and dazzle of the Disney+ MCU series The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, the last episode revealed the coming of *SPOILER* a new Captain America in Sam Wilson taking up the helm and the shield.

Now news hits the interweb with news that the Captain America franchise is set to return for a fourth installment.

That’s right, Captain America 4 is in the works. And the head writer and creator Malcolm Spellman of Disney+ and Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be involved in the development of the fourth installment of the Captain America film franchise for Marvel Studios. Spellman will co-write the script with Dalan Musson, a staff writer on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
