“Sorry Spidey, there will be no ghosting of Nick Fury”

It seemed like a millennia ago the tumultuous to-and-fro between Sony Pictures and Marvel put the future of the Spider-Man movie franchise in jeopardy. And whilst things seemed to have evened out, there is no spidey-sense in the world that could have prepared us for the current state of Covid-19 smitten world.

As such the sequel for Spider-Man: Far From Home has had its release date set back in 2021. More specifically, the festive season – Decemeber 17, 2021. It is not too far off, seeing the original release date was set for Novemer 5, 2021. However, the date before the first postponement was July 16, 2021

The film will see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Sony Pictures noted that the latest delay was only part of the domestic release calendar, leaving its international release in question.

Well, whatever happens, we are sure it is warranted.
