He’s not alone anymore.
The world feels a little less lonely as Arthur Fleck’s solitary swan song becomes a never ending musical duet in the official trailer to the Joker sequel Joker: Folie à Deux. And I have to say, if this does turn out to be an actual musical, I would not be upset by it.
Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga look to be in top form in the official trailer, as their descent into madness will be a vibrant, violent display of colour and sound. And we are suckers for bold, dadaist-organised typefaces for titles.
