“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” eyes Sam Raimi to direct

With the recent news of Marvel Studio’s Doctor Strange’s sequel losing director Scott Derrickson, leaving the production seemingly a rudderless ship, news comes that has Sam Raimi being eyed to fill the void.

Raimi is currently in talks to direct the second Doctor Strange movie – the entitled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Sam Raimi of course is not a stranger to the comic book film, having had his hand in directing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2… and 3. Of course his notoriously known for his prolific The Evil Dead series.

Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is slated for cinematic release come May 7, 2021
