Playstation 5 makes a quintessential reveal… of its logo

Sony’s Playstation may have long extending plans for the future of the brand trademarking PS5, PS6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and more, but much of what we’ve seen from the nex-gen console that is due next – PS5 – has been skint. While Xbox has given us a first look at their PC-Console Series X , the most we’ve seen for PS5 are leaked speculative images of the controller, horse-shoe shaped console and the titles of games destined for the new platform, namely Godfall.

And while Sony’s CES keynote event decided to shed some much-needed light on the nex-gen console that would take on Xbox and Stadia, what we got was our first look at Playstation 5… well, specifically the PS5 logo.

Playstation President + CEO Jim Ryan took to CES 2020 and unveiled the look of the PS5 logo, and it is as one would expect.

The PS5 console has previously been announced to be released come holiday 2020.
