Here stands revealed the first PS5 game title – “Godfall”
So the first PS5 game announcement came before the PS5 console announcement?
The console wars are surely entering a new phase that will see hardware and software take on more high-powered PC sensibilities. And whilst the likes of Xbox have revealed the monolith that is Series X to the world, Playstation 5 has yet to give fans anything more than just as impressive specs and a leaked prototype design that may or may not be official.
Alas, PS5 has one thing going for it – and that is its first official gaming title – Godfall. The Gearbox Publishing game is third-person fantasy looter-slasher focused on melee combat. Godfall is slated for release on the PlayStation 5 around a year from now during the festive season of 2020.
