The action pixel. @theactionpixelBandai Namco Games God Eater 2: Rage Burst has begun building momentum in anticipation for its release come February, releasing two promotional films, marrying the spectrum that is anime, from 2D to 3D. Rage Burst will be the final instalment of the God Eater 2 narrative arc.

The last chapter is packed with new features and scenarios, most notably the introduction of a new weapon called the “Valiant Scythe”, as well as a new action system called “Blood Rage”. “Blood Rage” involves filling an Awakening Gauge by attacking enemies, and then making a pledge to the God Arc once it activates, granting various buffs to the player. It all sounds so… apocalyptic.

In addition to this new characters Livie Collet and Isaac Feldman are introduced, adding to the eclectic bunch:

But while players will be able to move their data from previous saves from their PSP’s to there PS Vita, tough luck getting that data to be transferred from PSP’s to PlayStation 4. But you’d need all three devices to get it on the PS4 as PS Vita’s saved data can be transferred to Playstation 4.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst makes its way to PS Vita and Playstation 4 in February 19th 2015.
