Dead Rising: Watchtower video game film slated for streaming on Crackle
The Dead Rising video game series brings their zombie horde from the gamersphere to live-action film with their slated Dead Rising: Watchtower. The film will be streamed through Crackle, a streaming service run by Sony Pictures.
The film will eventually be made available on other digital services and physical media, most likely existing as an episodic film series as opposed to a feature, much like Machinima did with Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.
Dead Rising: Watchtoweris directed by Zack Lipovsky, with acting talent from Harley Morenstein, Keegan Connor Tracey, Aleks Paunovic, Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen and Dennis Haysbert. Tim Carter is the scriptwriter for the project, know for his work on Sleeping Dogs.
