“What If…?” may be bringing life to Marvel Zombies
The Brains of this operation better be careful
It seems like only yesterday that Marvel took Hall H by storm revealing their MCU Phase 4 plans to the world. It seems that in addition to the release of Phase 4 title art, the Marvel teasers came with some easter eggs of its own.
The What If…? title art seems to reveal just what narrative arcs we can expect to see. Marvel Zombies. We see the imfamous Cap get zombified.
In the comics, Marvel Zombies reimagines an alternate universe where Marvel’s mighty heroes get infected with a zombie virus. Which almost certainly leads to a total rampage.
We doubt this will be the only alternate universe twist that What If…? will offer. In any case, who doesn’t want to see Marvel great heroes reduced to the brain-thirsty undead?
What If? series first season will debut in 2021 and be an alternate take on the Marvel Phase 1-3 movies and that Westworld actor Jeffrey Wright (Bernard) will provide the voice of the Watcher.
