The legend of the Kryptonian lives on, be it in a slightly new context. HBO Max + Warner plan on bringing DC fans a new animated series focusing on the young adult lives of Clark Kent and Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen working at the famed Metropolis newspaper The Daily Planet.

The series is entitled My Adventures with Superman, and is set to star The Boys’ Jack Quaid as the young Clark Kent.

Here is what Sam Register, the president of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, had to say about the news:

This is the first animated Superman series in many years and we want to tell our Superman story through the trio of Clark, Lois, and Jimmy — whose relationship dynamic will allow for rich, serialized, and engaging stories as we explore their lives as individuals and their journey as friends.

More as things develop.
