Shadow Man is being resurrected for the nex-gen with the announced Remastered 1999 game

It seems the next wave of games coming to nex-gen consoles are more rooted in nostalgia than in anything ‘new’ new. With the likes of Demon’s Souls being revered for its reverence and innovation for its remastered version of the classic, another remake has entered the fro. This time, it is the classic Shadow Man game that is up for a remastered release.

The original horror/action game – based on the comic book series from Valiant Comics – became a cult classic when it was released in 1999 on the N64. And just how much the graphics have been ameliorated, check out the comparison screenshots of the original and the remastered:

The game’s scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch and other platforms in 2021 On top of refining the aesthetics and sound, as well as sculpting a more fine-tuned gameplay experience, Shadow Man Remastered is also aiming to bringing in missing content that was cut from the original game.
