CD Projekt Red is known to be doing the most when it comes to the creation of iconic titles, especially with the likes of the coming Cyberpunk 2077 game. And to add to the futuristic fanfare, CD Projekt Red has seemingly given fans insight in a future endeavour post Cyberpunk. Another Witcher game.
Yep. Another Witcher title seems to be in the cards for the game developer, and will begin production in earnest after Cyberpunk 2077 releases in September. Then the team makeup in the company will be comprised of two larger teams working on Cyberpunk 2077’s multiplayer and DLC add-ons respectively, whilst a smaller team will begin work on the new Witcher title. With that said, work has already begun on the new single-player game.
And we say ‘Witcher title’ and not Witcher 4 for a reason. The game, though being in the Witcher universe, will not be a sequel to the infamous The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Unlike Marvel, CD Projekt respects the law of the trilogy.
CEO of Projekt Red, Adam Kiciński, spoke on this saying:
We’ve been working on a next single-player game already, creating a clear concept that waits for further development.
Keep going, superfriends!
