Marvel has been steady unpacking news with its Hydra-tentacled franchises across all entertainment platforms and media from features to TV shows to gaming.

And following the release of The Defenders trailer they have also announced that season 2 of Netflix’s Iron Fist is soon on its way to fans.

And to add to the fanfare Luke Cage’s Misty Knight – played by Simone Missick – is set to appear. Love’s in the air me thinks if the comics are anything to go by. Let’s hope season 2 is a bit more taut narratively-speaking
