Henry Cavill speaks on the possibilities of a Superman Man Of Steel sequel, stating whilst Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is certainly a seguey into introducing the new Batman and impending Justice League films, a standalone Superman film is definitely a possibility, better yet, a likelihood to take place in the near future.
Cavill explains:
There’s plenty of time for individual Superman sequels. He’s a tough character to tell. People like the darker vigilante. I think it speaks to the human psyche more easily rather than the god-like being that we can’t really understand. Once we have a more expansive universe we can delve more into the character of Superman and hopefully tell more stories.
Ben Affleck, who will play Batman and Director Zack Snyder, who directed Dawn Of Justice as well as the Man Of Steel film, recently got interviewed by Entertainment Weekly and came in defence of Snyder’s portrayal of Superman and the wanton destruction and collateral damage that takes place in Man Of Steel.
Well, our guess is if there is to be a standalone Superman film, it would likely be between Justice League film 1 and 2. Or maybe just after 2. In any case well see how much damage Supes and Snyder do in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
