The very first image from James Gunn’s “Superman” gets released as principal photography begins.

DC Comics venture into James Gunn’s newly erected DC: Gods And Monsters:: Chapter 1 universe takes a solid leap forward with first reading of the script with the assembled cast as well as most recently the release of the first image kicking off the beginning of principal photography of Superman: Legacy.

Well, the film that is formally known as Superman: Legacy. Now, it is just Superman.

Check out the new symbol of hope lightly dusted with snow:

Superman is slated for cinematic release come July 11, 2025.
