Paul Feig, director of the Ghostbuster film that will see an all female cast, has picked Thor’s + Avengers’ actor to be the Receptionist. Janine, who is the receptionist for the Ghostbusters when the main team was all-male, was portrayed as a female character. Now they’ve switched it up a bit by casting Chris Hemsworth, a male to play the receptionist of an all female paranormal investigation team. Everyone’s going to have to go to that special meeting about ‘bad touch’ and proper workplace etiquette then. Of course I am just kidding. Geez, relax.

Ghostbusters is of course based on the prolific features animated series in the 80’s that had a team of paranormal investigators in New York battle all sort of ghosts and creepy-crawlies.
This however is not to be confused with another Sony / Ivan Reitman Ghostbuster film coming out that stars a male cast. Which is weird, seeing they could have put all the power behind the female version and build on that instead of dividing the franchise’s power within the same timeframe.
Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters is set to be released July 22nd 2016
