It seems with Unity, Ubisoft stepping back and going back to basics in gaming with Syndicate, seems the developer is breaking its traditional annual game releases for Assassin’s Creed.

The next undisclosed Assassin’s Creed game is set for release some time in 2017. But I guess the Movie and the scrolling game Assassin’s Creed: Chronicles adventure game set in India and Russia, which releases in this month January and February 2016, we’ve got a lot of AC to look forward to in 2016.

Rumours have surfaced that the coming 2017 game will be set in Egypt (who’ll do Prince Of Persia better?) via 4chan, but Ubisoft has decided not to feed the rumour mill with a comment denying or verifying the games setting.

“So do you guys think the next AC game is set for Egypt. Aesthetically we think that would be quite boss! And with the heat films like “God Of Egypt” got over casting and race representation, do you think we’ll be getting much of the same if the game is set in Egypt?
