Gran Turismo takes to the starting line in official movie trailer
The race is on
There is no restarts or cutting corners in this one, as Sony Pictures takes a true story surrounding the iconic video game franchise Gran Turismo, that sees a gamer put his skills to the ultimate test by swapping the controller for the steering wheel.
And, as you could imagine, it not as easily transferable a skill as you’d think.
And the trailer features grumpy David Harbour and direction from Oat Studios’ Neil Blomkamp.

From GAMER to RACER. Gran Turismo is based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.
