The Lord of the Rings seemingly gets a new lease of life with Amazon Prime priming us for a prequel for the ages. The new trailer for the forthcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power gives us a taste of life before Golem gave us Precious and arguably inspired Beyonce’s ‘Put a Ring on it’.
Watch and tell us what you think, especially with the fact in the back of your wee minds that this series’ television rights for The Lord of the Rings cost Amazon US$250 million, with an added US$1 billion+ to be pumped into a five-season production commitment.
