Homelander’s stepping into his ‘wrathful god’ era
The Boys spares no absurdity, malevolence or sanguineous lust in the season four official trailer, and its enough to tease a WTF out of you at numerous points. And that is what we love and are here for. Things are truly coming to a head with Butcher looking to make things right. And by right, a whole lot of chaos and bloodshed has to happen. All part of the plan.
And Victoria Neuman in the most powerful office in the free world is not a far cry from the timeline we live in, so getting her out is probably priority numero dos when you have a wildcard like Homelander talking about going into his “wrathful god” era.

In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.
