“Star Wars: Visions” brings the totality of anime’s boundless potential in epic new trailer
Star Wars continues to flesh out their TV cinematic universe on Disney Plus with more insight into the coming anime anthology – Star Wars: Visions. Following the look at a featurette that piqued the interest of Star Wars and anime fans alike, now we get a candid look at the official trailer.
And I have to say, it is a tough f*cking edit for the trailer. Foreign, yet familiar. And continuing from where The Mandalorian trailed off, it is refreshing to see Star Wars begin to trod new, virgin territory. The anthology boasts different, unique styles of animation – traditional to 3D and mixed, brooding to cutsie. So pretty much something for everyone, no matter where you land on the anime spectrum.
