“Deadpool 3” is in the works at Marvel Studios

It was only last year around this holiday season that Deadpool 2 took a slight revamp and decided to exchange its naughty lump of coal for more PG-13 shenanigans with their Christmas-Disney skewed re-release.

And it looks like the promising talks of Deadpool surviving the Disney-Fox merger has come to fruition and the Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds has more to be festive about.

The actor has confirmed that Deadpool 3 is currently in development at Disney, which would make it the only current film to be carried on from the Fox-operated Marvel franchise films.

In a recent interview, the Deadpool actor and producer let it be known the current state of the Deadpool 3 project:

Yeah yeah, we’re working on [Deadpool 3] right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.
