Google Stadia release date revealed

Google, as you know, entered their stake into the gaming console wars, albeit ironically with no physical console to speak of, with the Google Stadia. Now the coming gaming service has a concrete release date.

Google Stadia’s release date for the Founder’s Edition package will be available beginning November 19, 2019. The service will go live at 5 pm GMT.

The cost to play, as was detailed in earlier press releases, stands at £119/$129.

This all comes prior to the free Stadia Base service, which you can choose to wait (or downgrade to) when it arrives sometime in 2020. This will be available for more devices (Chrome browsers, Pixel 3/3a phones) but is limited to streaming of 1080p/60fps.
