As gamers we often get bogged down by the many Ubisoft patches, DLCs needed to return to our gaming experience. Or when you have a Romeo/Juliet friendship where your gaming partner devotely plays on a console that you hate. Well it seems Google has a fix for all that. And they call it Stadia.

The idea of real plug and play gaming is an appealing one. Where you can play on any screen, with no need for patches and downloads. All you need is the internet and if you got the 35 Mbps, then you’ll be able to enjoy 4K, 60 fps and 5.1 surround sound gaming. Lower resolutions and speeds are also supported.

And all you need is the controller to get a direct connection to your gaming experience. And depending on your poison of choice, be it laptop, tablet or TV, the game can be accessed via Chrome, the Stadia app or (for TV) a Chromecast Ultra.

Google has amassed some impressive titles including Destiny 2 and Mortal Kombat 11.

Subscriptions include:

Stadia Pro: $9.99/month

Stadia Founders Edition: This will be available to Belgium, United Kingdom, Finland, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United States.

This package comes with a limited edition controller, 3 months of Stadia Pro for you and a friend, Chromecast Ultra, Stadia username of your choice (before everyone else takes it) and the entire Destiny 2 collection for $129. Which is price-waise better than the reported $300 value tag.

It’s available for pre-order via stadia.com if you are interested too. So you might want to get on that.
