Marvel has made a big announcement, which may be indicative of greater things to come when (and if) the Fox + Marvel deal is finalised. Marvel Entertainment has signalled the return of her first family – the Fantastic Four.

Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski sat down with VP & Creative Executive Ryan Penagos to reveal the massive Marvel Comics news in an announcement video sure to get fans fired up. A torch reference, if you will.

It seemed ages ago since Marvel announced its final issue of the Fantastic Four, and of course the disappointment of the 20th Century Fox-led film and Disney’s attempt to distance itself from the franchise in an attempt to not give any promotion to third-party led projects using the Marvel brand. But alas, things seem to be on the alignment once again in the Marvel comics camp.
