In the original series, Samurai Jack follows the story of a young prince (voiced by Phil LaMarr) from Feudal Japan, whose empire is overrun by a shape-shifting demon Aku (Mako Iwamatsu). As a child, the prince escapes destruction and travels the Earth training his mind and his body for years until he reaches adulthood, becoming a legendary samurai. He returns home to save his kingdom and banish Aku but before he is able to strike, Aku casts Samurai Jack into a time portal into the future where Aku is the supreme ruler of all. Jack then goes on an neverending mission to destroy the demon and return to his time.

Samurai Jack is set to premiere on Adult Swim in 2016
