The world of video game series is seeming leading the charge in the future of serial narrative tv, right on the heals of Last Of Us. The lore of this particular Amazon Prime destined production is a dystopian future viewed through the nostalgic prism that feels like a World Of Tomorrow fair with a tinge of monster radiation, post-apocalyptic destruction and impending chem addiction.
We are of course speaking on Bethesda’s Fallout getting the streaming service tv series treatment. And some first look images have hit the internet and we are certainly giving the most agreeable of Pip Boy thumbs up.
The images portray (pretty damn accurately aesthetically speaking) much of what makes Fallout a unique experience. From the Brotherhood of Steel and the iconic Power Suits to the radiation-disfigured Ghouls.

Speaking on the Brotherhood of Steel, Jonathan Nolan, who is developing the TV series alongside wife Lisa Joy, describes the group and their intentions in the series:
It’s a little bit of the Marine Corps. It’s a little bit of the Knights Templar. It’s this kind of weird fusion. In the absence of a federal government, you just had all this military hardware lying around. Who would get it, and how would they maintain control of it?”
Nolan further goes on to say the Brotherhood of Steel is “a mutated version of patriotism, religion, loyalty, and fraternity.”
However, don’t just take our word for it. See the stills that featured in Vanity Fair below:
