Is Ricardo Segarra entering the DCCU as a Green Lantern?

So it seems Tyrese’s spouting off on social media was a bit of a misdirect, as far as Chris Pine is concerned, who has locked down the deal to star in Wonder Woman. Typical.

But there may be another contender for the role of another Green Lantern- Kyle Rayner.

Kyle Garner in DC Comics is of Latino descent as his father was a Chicano CIA agent, and the actor up to play him- Ricardo Segarra.

And he’s been going Twitter crazy teasing the possible GL appearance:

Lance Gross (Grey’s Anatomy, Crisis) could be teasing GL John Stewart; on Instagram he posted the Green Lantern symbol with the caption “In brightest day.”:

What this means for Tyrese is anyone’s guess.

Green Lantern would be making his first appearance in the Justice League 1 and 2, with the GL solo film happening in 2020.

Justice League (Part 1) is scheduled for theatres in November 17^th 2017
Justice League (Part 2) is scheduled for theatres in June 14^th 2019

Green Lantern is set for release in cinemas June 19^th 2020
