Chris Pine up to play Wonder Woman’s love interest Steve Trevor
Wonder Women after switching Michelle Maclaren, who according to WB couldn’t hack it [and we call ‘bullshit’ on that one] for Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot and WB seemed hellbent on chasing after Wonder Woman‘s second highest priority… her love interest. And after many auditions, they seemed to have settled for actively pursuing Star Trek‘s Chris Pine.
According to the report, WB tested other actors but later decided to look at more high-profile names and go with a straight offer. It’s said Chris Pine won over production executives as well as Gal Gadot at his meeting, leading the studio to pursue him for the role of Steve Trevor.
Wait, have they decided on a script yet, or are there still multiple versions floating around from different writers? Way to commit, Diana. 
Wonder Woman is currently slated for release on June 23rd 2017
Gal Gadot will make her first appearance as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, out in cinemas March 25th 2016
