Guardians Of The Galaxy animated series release date announced; Poster revealed

After the teaser footage and cast announcements, the time for the animated GOTG series is upon us.

Disney / Marvel have announced release dates for the episodes; the first episode debuts Saturday, September 27^th 2015. However for you busy-bodies, a sneaky-peeky of the first episode will air September 5^th at 9pm.

In addition, Disney has announced ten 10-minute character shorts:

• Aug. 1: Star Lord, Part 1 (8:58 pm) and Part 2 (10:28 pm)

• Aug. 8: Groot, Part 1 (8:58 pm) and Part 2 (9:58 pm)

• Aug. 15: Rocket Raccoon, Part 1 (8:58 pm) and Part 2 (9:58 pm)

• Aug. 22: Drax, Part 1 (8:58 pm) and Part 2 (9:58 pm)

• Aug. 29: Gamora, Part 1 (8:58 pm) and Part 2 (9:58 pm)

The Guardians of the Galaxy animated series features the voice talents of: Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot, Will Friedle as Star-Lord, Vanessa Marshall as voice Gamora, David Sobolov as Drax and Trevor Devall as Rocket Raccoon.
