Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her.
Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals – anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.

Vixen is set to premiere on CW Seed on August 25th 2015

“Our hopes were that Vixen would be a full fledged series when we first heard of the project. But its starting out as a mini series to be viewed on CW’s online platform, CW Seed. Seems they are testing the waters, with things hopefully leading to more solid projects on primetime. From the calibre of animation seen, do you think we’ll get a new season out of ‘Vixen’? On the CW?! Let us know what you think in the comment section”
