vixen. Cw seed. Dc comics, @theactionpixel The Action pixelWhen we heard that Vixen was set for an animated series that shared the same universe as CW’s Arrow and The Flash, we were happy to see such a move that sought to bring two unique mediums in a shared space.

Executive Producer of the show Marc Guggenheim went on record to talk more of the project:

We’re going to do basically an animated spinoff. It’s a six-part origin story, but characters from The Flash and Arrow are prominently involved. It’s in the continuity and the world…If the character [Vixen] resonates with people, that would be wonderfulI would love to be in a position where CW said to us, ‘Hey, we want a Vixen live-action show.’ We’ll have to see how things play out.

Guggenheim also spoke on the strong possibility of The Flash‘s Grant Gustin and Arrow‘s Stephen Amell making appearances on the animated series.

Vixen is slated to premiere on CW’s Seed in Autumn 2015
