Now images reveal a more comic-aligned Professor X, as James McAvoy employs the telepathic X-Men leader’s signature look by going bald. Director of X-Men Apocalypse Bryan Singer posted the barber’s hackjob on his Instagram:
How he loses his hair is still a mystery, whether he will be going through some diva ‘shed the past’ moment, or because he saw his future self and decided to go bald, or maybe a hot dose of radiation from somewhere or some enemy? Who knows.
X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Singer, working from a script by Simon Kinberg, X-Men: Apocalypse stars returning players like James McAvoy (Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magnus), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, and Nicholas Hoult, but it’s also adding ton of new actors and superheroes. Oscar Isaac plays Apocalypse, Tye Sheridan is Cyclops, Sophie Turner plays Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp plays Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee is Nightcrawler, Ben Hardy plays Angel, Lana Condor plays Jubilee, and Olivia Munn shows up as Psylocke.
X-Men: Apocalypse is slated for cinema release on May 27th 2016
