AMC series begin filming of Vertigo’s Preacher TV series

Preacher has kicked off in a great it seems, as filming of the pilot has begun on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Seth Rogen, the series producer director of the Vertigo-inspired TV comic series, took to social media to give fans a peak:

This comes following news of Dominic Cooper being revealed to play badass preacher Jesse Custer.

Synopsis reads:

Preacher centers around Jesse Custer, a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), the three embark on a journey to literally find God.

Well, seeing they are shooting in New Mexico, we suggest taking some psychedelics and go wondering in the wilderness to find God. For reals.
