World Of Warcraft has been the penultimate defining MMORPG of its generation. And when news surfaced of the game being made into a film, we definitely saw its potential. Fantasy is in after all. But things for the World Of Warcraft movie have hit a little ‘snafu’ re release date. That’s not say its detrimental, as the shifting seems more about strategy aligning the film for a summer blockbuster appearance.
Originally, the release date was slated for March 11th 2016, but now it turns out the WoW picture has been delayed to June 10th 2016.
Duncan Jones is set to direct the feature; his credits include the scif-fi feature Moon (2009).
World Of Warcraft the film is now set for release in cinemas on June 10th 2016
“Game Movies. With a few exceptions (very few) have we seen anything worthy of filming? And those are the simpler ones. WOW is a vast universe. Will the script and direction be able to give us a great sense of what the prolific game embodies? Tell us what you expect come game movie time.”
