War is an ugly thing. Partly because it reads like a social activity for delusional, mentally-disturbed people. “Let’s meet up in a field and poke each other with sticks and see how much we bleed and the most people left win.” Fantastic.
So Creative Assembly’s Total War: Attila up their war tactics in the game by bringing a DLC that involves a lot of spewing of fluids. What are we talking about? Blood and vomit, obviously. Total War: Attila Blood & Burning DLC brings violence to the brand where you can see soldiers bleed and vomit their guts out, pretty much in line with DLC add on packs did with the likes of Rome 2‘s Blood & Gore add-on, or Shogun 2‘s Blood Pack.
There’s also new animations incinerate soldiers to death, and infected soldiers will be seen regurgitating in no-mans-land and a decapitation here and there. Gruesome. So if you like your gore, £2 / $3 is a small price to pay.
See the carnage add-ons in the official trailer in the player below:
Total War: Attila Blood & Burning DLC is out now blood fiends.
What you think about the add-on sanguine-fiends. Lover of the bloodletting or is it overkill with the burning and vomiting and rolling heads?
