Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain release date leaked announced

Konami has been teasing the release some top secret stuff to be happening re: their iconic franchise Metal Gear Solid, so top secret news to be revealed via IGN tomorrow. But alas the announcement will no longer be that much of a surprise anymore as a bit of a gaff over at IGN has released the announcement video prematurely.

It’s down now, but not before the eagle hawk gamers to a few swipes and screen grabs. And the announcement? The new Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain game will be officially on gaming shelves worldwide September 1:

Great news for fans. Not so great news for heads of marketing.
