Mortal Kombat X maybe 25 years in the future from where Mortal Kombat 9 left off, and features the offspring of old vet fighters. Example: Takahashi Takeda, Kenshi’s son.
But with the announcement of the WB Games mobile version of MKX, the trailer reveals a certain psychc blind swordsmen in a unique fighting stance known simply as “Possessed Kenshi”:

To top it off, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon also recently unveiled the return of “Brutalities”. Which is like Fatality, only you repetively beat your opponent into a pile of dead bones with your bare fists like Ip Man fighting for a bag of rice.
Hopeful, if Kenshi is to make a return, will signal the return of other classic fighters to the MKX game.
NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat X is slated for release on April 14th 2015
