In Guardians of the Galaxy, we got a glimpse of Howard The Duck. Well, this Easter egg is about to hatch in plans revealed by Marvel to put out a follow up comic to the post-credit GOTG sequence. The secind issue of the serialised Howard The Duck will pick up where the Guardians Of The Galaxy left off, detailing how Howard the Duck becomes propriety of the dubious Collector.

Official Howard The Duck #2 synopsis reads:

Howard’s first big case has taken him across the universe and landed him in the clutches of The Collector! But he’s not alone as the very popular Rocket Raccoon is a prisoner as well! Have you ever seen a comic book sequel to a post-credits scene in a movie? Well, you will now!

The issue features artwork from Joe Quinones, and writing from Chip Zdarsky. And the cover artfeatures tongue in cheek showing Howard The Duck flanked by Gamora, Starlord and the team taking selfies… with a “duck-face”. If you ask me, this is a mockery and very speciest and Marvel should not stand for this.
