Leaked Deadpool Test Footage

Blur, the production company did a naughty / good no-no by leaking some test footage done for the Deadpool movie back in 2011 to drum up some interest ahead of Comic Con. Well they managed just that and it is actually quite awesomely funny. Wisecracks galore, Reynold’s voice as Deadpool fits nicely and it seems Deadpool technically will be his first proper superhero film (we’ll just push Green Lantern under the carpet– there you go).

The leaked footage was done without Fox’s knowledge or consent, but hey, if Ryan Reynolds said in a MTV interview that he would have leaked it if he had the chance, then who are we to judge? Reynolds even went on to say though the franchise isn’t as heavily-funded as other Marvel heroes, it helps the film process. “Necessity is the mother of invention”.
If they get the pace and humour in the movie like they did in the test, well it’s safe to say Deadpool’ll be a hit. God knows we need more Wade wise-crackings, and less of him being dead or undead.
