The tale of the troubled times of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a rich, pensive and immersive tale of colliding worlds. One being of the material and the other of an awesome, supernatural force. The Witcher 3, even after having its release date pushed back twice over, have been using their borrowed time ever-wisely, still managing to focus their efforts on immersive narration and compelling character-driven promotional pieces alongside their official game.
Details of the The Witcher universe can be gleaned from the haunting, maniacal rantings of a hooded religious nut in the town square, as it always is in medieval times. Bolstered by a resonating voiceover with detailed parallax animations and images, it does deliver the chills. CPR, alongside prominent female characters and focusing on overall gamer experience with focus aimed at compelling narratives and free DLC packs, they are a small part of rebuilding gamers trust in triple A games.
