Outcast pilot boasts big cast

With Constantine season being cut short, or just right depending where your views stand it seems the world is ready for a new breed of supernatural thriller. As such, the Walking Dead‘s Robert Kirkman may have the answer in another critically acclaimed Image Comics series Outcast.

Kyle Barnes, the main protagonist in Outcast is plagued by a demon. He embarks on a mission to rid himself of this evil, the key that may exist in the mind of the alcoholic, gambling Reverend Anderson.

In recent news, Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta secured actors to star in a live-action pilot.

The pilot casting includes Patrick Fugit as Kyle Barnes, Philip Glenister as Reverend Anderson and Reg E. Cathy as Gyles, Andersons’ gambling buddy.

We are one excited to see what they come up with. And with The Walking Dead ending with that intense midseason fashion, it would seem Image Comics is showing better resilience in creating riveting series with longer shelf-lives in comparison to the ‘Big 2’.
