WOTW: Goliath releases Comic Art from “Horatio”

War Of The Worlds: Goliath is quite an extensive universe. As animations tend to be. You can see it in the BTS and reference material created during the animation process, from storyboards to concept art and animatics. So it seems only natural that this process of narrative exploration, especially when exploring cyberpunk-laden themes, would find its way home to splash page of a comic. Joe Pearson and the busy bees behind WOTW: Goliath have released a feature comic based on their H.G. Wells-themed animation entitled Horatio. It features the work of writer Gavin Yap and artwork by Redcode.

The artwork is grand in scope and the simple palette of colour striking, a technique, along with the details made on mechanics and alien craft, I found to be somewhat reminiscent of Star Wars’ Dark Empire graphic novels series. Check out excerpts from Horatio and let us know what you think. We for one would love to see it in its entirety and support them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WarOfTheWorldsGoliath
