Darth Vader. The ACTION PIXEL @theactionpixelMarvel, Disney and Lucasfilm is becoming one big boiling pot of gumbo with this latest project. Marvel has turned to the dark side for the second time spearheading a series of Star Wars most iconic, asthmatic villain that comes in black, Darth Vader. The series will be created writer Kieron Gillen and artist Salvador Larroca, and is set to kick off in February 2015.

The Sith Lord is sure to give a whole new perspective on the Star Wars universe, with the occassional telekenetic throttling and ‘something something the dark side of the force!’ Can’t wait.

First impressions the art is great, but lacks a certain character of previous beautiful-tonal renders of Dark Horse’s Star Wars Dark Empire and the likes, which gave the characters and narrative a lot more of an artistic, legendary feel.
